Mtoto Wa Bahari

Where Hope Reaches the Ocean

Mtoto wa Bahari, meaning “child of the ocean” in Swahili, is a beacon of hope rising from the vast blue. We envisage a future where teenage girls and young mothers are empowered to break the cycle of poverty and despair. We are a nonprofit making community-based organization (CBO) with no religious or political affiliation

Sex education

This project tackles early pregnancies in Kilifi through sex education, mentorship, and reproductive health services. It empowers youth with knowledge on contraception, consent, and informed choices while engaging schools and communities to break cultural barriers and promote awareness.

2.

Corporate Partnership

By collaborating with businesses, we aim to fund awareness programs, provide resources, and empower youth with knowledge on contraception and informed choices. Partnering companies will contribute to social impact while enhancing their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.
